Introduction to Seeds of The Future

 

Good day, we hope you are doing well.

 

We would like to start by first introducing ourselves, we are Lea and Caleesi two young children in primary school and we have realized that we have a voice, a voice that we can use for something we see and experience every day and we want to change what not just us but so many other children also go though.

With this we now have decided to officially take our ideas, our passion and our voice and have created “ SEEDS OF THE FUTURE”

Because, well we are the seeds of the future, just like when you plant a seed, if you water the seed regularly, take care of the seed when it sprouts it will blossom into an amazing flower. We and so many others want to be amazing flowers but we need your help.

We would like to encourage you to read the following which is our major focus point.

 

The Future of tomorrow…..

A quality foundation education can help students thrive and unlock their full potential. The foundation phase is where they learn and develop valuable life skills that will help them in the real world, including, Social and emotional coping skills

For students to excel in their educational journey, a solid foundation in early childcare development and the foundational phase of their schooling is crucial.

 

Early childcare development is more than playing with friends and coloring-in. It is a student's first step on their educational journey. These are the foundational skills students will continue to build on, not only in their schooling but throughout life.

It’s at this stage where students continue to expand their skills as they progress through each grade. And it is this development and growth that impacts how they will view education throughout their life. Without these foundational skills, students will face challenges later in life.

 

"It is a misconception that you should invest more in high school education rather than on early childhood development and prep school education. Without the basic principles firmly in place, children struggle with some of the basic concepts later on.

Spending money on quality education is an investment in the future as our youth is just that…the world future leaders, scientist, doctors and more. The financial challenges many families are experiencing during these unprecedented times with more and more families facing the financial difficulties to ensure their children obtain quality education at this crucial stage of their lives has become somewhat of a huge struggle.

 

Students are naturally curious, and they develop their learning styles during the foundation phase, which prepares them for secondary schooling and the ability to grasp challenging concepts.

A quality foundation education can help students thrive and unlock their full potential. The foundation phase is where they learn and develop valuable life skills as well as where they start their journey of vital interest such as math, science with many children in  the primary school truly excelling in  these fields and showing a natural understanding and the willingness to learn more in  those fields.  

Investing in quality education can lead to greater success for students. It is such an oversight by many  who provide bursaries or scholarship that children in primary school are not a focus or considered when it comes to bursaries, sponsorships.

We want to raise more awareness to the fact that from the foundation phase children, our youth are worth investing in to help and assist them in every possible way for a better future by providing them with the best start.

 

Thank you for reading our mission statement and we hope that this has enlighten you and many more to thinking about the SEEDS OF THE FUTURE.

We will be aligning our mission with various campaigns, schools and families to assist in may different ways. Our goal is also to include more children in our campaign and show them how they can help their fellow classmates. 

If you would like to be part of our campaign please send us an email with the details of what you are able to assist with and we will gladly work with you. We will align what you can and how you want to be involved appropriately with the needs of our little seeds, this ensuring that any assistance is utilized to its full potential.

And if you think that you have no means to assist, we would like to say…YES YOU CAN.

Recently we had a hand full of kids, bring books from home they no longer read. With those few kids each bringing a book or two, we managed to collect almost a 100 books, that we where able to give to other kids who had no books.

Schools are writing their end year exams, some of our fellow students struggled with basic math's and we helped them. How, well we knew someone who is currently in university and we merely asked her to give some extra lessons to these students before exams.

We also worked on raising some funds to donate to the school so that the school can allocate those funds in the many fee exemptions that is applied for every year.

So if we could do that, just imagine what we can do with your help, how many more seeds we can help.

Without knowing it, you have a watering can in your hand, not clear as to where to water a seed. Let us work together in watering the SEEDS OF THE FUTURE.
